Aster Environmental Consultants Ltd have been offering courses in Appropriate Assessment and Habitats Directive for twelve years. We have been contracted by competent authorities; county councils, state bodies and private consultancies to provide bespoke courses to them over the years. We are the registered training provider for this topic for Engineers Ireland since 2012 and provide training to ecologists through CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecological and Environmental Mangers UK).

We have also helped to design and given advice on templates for Appropriate Assessment and plain English guidance notes. We continue to provide mentoring and support and expert witness services in this area. We have expertise in Natura 2000 sites, Natura Impact Statement and Appropriate Assessment screening training.

Through the Ecology Centre we have partnered with other high quality service providers to bring a range of environmental education packages to a professional audience working in this field.
